Problem
Electrolux Dryer Model#: EFME617SIW would not start. Diagnostic mode displayed error code eHD.
Tools
Screwdriver, Needle-nose pliers.
Repair & Advice
1. Remove two screws from the top-rear of the unit to remove the top/lid assembly.
2. Remove the screws and unplug connectors to main board
3. Replace main board
4. Restore connectors and screws
5. Restore top/lid assembly and fasten with two top-rear screws

Main control board - heater coil control relay was burned.
Tools
Multimeter, phillip head screw driver.
Repair & Advice
Problem:
1. Main control board - heater coil control relay was burned.
2. Front control display nonresponsive and does not turn on.
Resolution:
1. Replacing the heater coil control relay. (Does not fix the issue)
2. Replaced the main control board. (Fix the issue)

Problem
Dryer would not turn on or run at all

Phillips #2 screwdriver, Flat head screw driver
Repair & Advice
After a repair company tols us it would be just over 400.00 to repair due to all the labor, we bought the part ourselves from Parts Dr. It arrived ahead of time, exactly as described. $ Phillips head screws later, we changed out the board. The flat head was to assist in getting two clips open. Once the board was replaced, we reassmbled and everything worked again.
