Problem
The control panel on the top of the dish drawer would not cycle through the different modes. It would not sense the pressure so it was always stuck in one mode which was the one we didn’t want. What I found when I removed the unit was corrosion on the top sensor.
Tools
The only tool they used was a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the front panel of the dishwasher drawer.
Repair & Advice
This was a very simple repair.I turned the power off at the panel. Once I got the drawer front off then I got the new unit and just pulled the wires off and transferred them to the new unit to make sure I was getting them back in the right spot. Each of the wire connectors can only go in one spot so it was pretty simple. Then I plugged it in and it magically worked again. My wife is super happy and so am I.
