Problem
Lg dishwasher had error code nE dishes weren’t getting clean because the sprayer arms were not rotating I guess. Searched online found this website to be the least expensive. I purchased this part and the sensor switch as well from another website. This part came in first so I replaced it and dishwasher cleans now. Fixed The other back up part I purchased in case it was needed came in few days later and sits in a drawer now. Awesome website!
Tools
Used a Philips screwdriver and followed the instructions I found on YouTube. Gotta love YouTube. Every DIYers go to best friend to find help.
Repair & Advice
I found a few guys on YouTube who showed how to replace this part. Some were on point. But others went way to far removing things inside the dishwasher that didn’t need to be. Only dishes and racks need to be removed. Because you need to Unhook completely the water line, drain line and power cord then remove dishwasher in order to flip it over. Then disconnect the diverter motor, pull off electrical connector and unscrew two screws. You Need to reuse a small plastic piece that installs onto the shaft from the old motor to the new motor then Line it up and screw it back on. Re connect electrical connection to motor. Re hookup dishwasher set back under counter and your done. Fast easy fix. Save yourself money. Google the repair. And DIY. Easy easy fix.
