Problem
Broken built-in Whirlpool oven inner door glass

Phillips and Flat Screwdrivers
Repair & Advice
Take a flat screwdriver and leverage up the hinge clips on the oven door ... once they are pushed in an upright position you can close the door half-way and lift the door off the oven. Remove the screws around the outside, top and bottom if present. In my application, I didn't need to remove the screws that held the hinges, but in the video instructions I watched on a range type oven, they did need to be removed first. The video I watched worked from the inside dis-assembling the door, but in the built-in style I fixed the hinges didn't need to come off and the best way was to work from the outside glass and work down to the inner glass. Either way prepare a large flat surface to work on and remember what type of screw goes where. The built-in had three glass panels, inner, middle and outer, so I had it completely dis-assembled. After cleaning the parts and cleaning out the broken glass I re-assembled it easily ... If your memory isn't good or if you are going to have it apart for a while, I'd suggest taking pics as you dis-assemble for ease of assembly. Wasn't hard at all, just a lot of screws...

Problem
cracked inner glass door on older model Whirlpool oven
Tools
screwdriver, two small size right angle hex/Allen keys used (lost originals that came with oven) in holes for the door hinges
Repair & Advice
Tons of internet and YouTube content available for instruction but not our exact door removal but we had oven installation manual that detailed how to remove and reinstall the door to oven. Job can probably take around 30 minutes or less but wife wanted to deep clean door and other glass. The replacement glass was a perfect fit and is working great.

Repair & Advice
This built in oven was bought many years ago.I did not think we would be able to find a replacement glass.I found this website and thought I would give it a shot- a replacement built in oven that was the same brand was pricing up over $2000!I am so glad I found this site!Easy to order, glass came quicker than expected and in perfect packing! I managed to replace the glass in about an hour max.I am a female and over the age of 50... barely but guess I am there! Thank you so much for saving me hundreds of dollars!!
