Remodeling of laundry room and relocation of dryer vent to the outside of the house. I needed the periscope to make the vent close to the interior wall and be able to connect to the wall vent pipe location. The periscope eliminates the need for offseting the dryer 6 to eight inches from the wall.

The most difficult and time consuming endeavor of the installation was connecting the periscope to the dryer as the dryer vent pipe is recessed an inch into the dryer. I may purchase a piece 4 inch aluminum pipe to extend the dryer vent pipe further to the outside to make future periscope removal and connection easier following cleaning of the vent.

Measure the distance from the dryer to the out vent and you should be good.
