Repair & Advice
The replacement for this part was extremely easy with my microwave. I just removed the screws on the top of the vent cover then removed that part. Removed the screw holding the key panel in place. Lifted up on the key panel and pulled it out. Took a picture of the wire connections for reference later on then disconnected the wires and set the key/control panel aside. I removed both the top and bottom micro switches which were simply clipped into place and connected via two wires each. I put the new switches in place, replaced the wires, hooked up the key/control panel again, put it back in place, then put the vent cover back in place and put the screws back in place. Very simple repair and there are countless videos of how to do this exact repair on many different microwaves on YouTube if you feel like you might need any visual help with this repair.
