Problem
Cold water would not come into tub of washer.

Screwdriver socket wrench needle-nose pliers.
Repair & Advice
Actually I went online and saw how it was done made it very easy the only thing is you do need to have some strength to lift the enclosure off and away from unit.

Problem
Washer making a surging noise as cold water alternates with warm water and water pressure was affected as well.
Tools
Phillips screwdriver, putty knife, standard pliers, flat head screwdriver & channel locks.
Repair & Advice
Push putty knife straight from front to back at each end of control panel to release both clips & fold back control panel from top of washer cabinet. Pull left top of back of washer to remove hose from water inlet valve & drain water from hose. Remove mounting screw holding water inlet valve to rear panel of washer. After removing wire harnesses with flat head screwdriver. Replace with new water inlet valve reconnect hose & wire harnesses. Push water inlet valve threaded ends through rear panel of washer & reinstall mounting screw. Hook up cold & hot water hoses to rear of washer & plug in power cord. Open water valves & ready to use washer again.
