Problem
Electrolux 36” induction stove top would not turn on after lightning strike nearby
Tools
Phillips Screwdriver, needle nose pliers
Repair & Advice
Had an electrician diagnose the problem ( control board burned out). Ordered the part from Parts Dr. (super fast delivery by the way, thank you!!)
Replacement wasn’t very difficult ,but make plenty pictures along the way to keep track of what connects where. And make sure that your fingers don’t touch (rub against) any other fine electronics parts. The static electricity may damage those. (That was the hardest part of the replacement )

Problem
Blown power supply
Tools
Screwdriver
Repair & Advice
You only need to remove the glass top to access the power supply. Power supply is located in lower right hand corner. The glass top is secured with 10 screws. Disconnect 2 small ribbon cables (beware they have the same connector). The power supply cover has 4 screws. Easy to remove the 2 connectors on the power supply and the 4 screws. Very easy to reinstall.
