Problem
Door glass was broken.
Tools
Screwdriver, glass cleaner.
Repair & Advice
Remove the door first by disconnecting the hinges. The small levers that lock it in look like part of the solid metal but they fold down. Then, just work carefully to remove the screws on the bottom and back of the door, taking the opportunity to be sure everything is clean inside the door before installing the new glass.

Problem
I shot my oven door out with a BB gun, not internationally, I was trying to scare my dog. It worked… but it also cost me $140!
Tools
Phillip screwdriver, gorilla double sided tape, another person to get the parts out of the sink that you put in there after you washed them, because you can’t hold up the glass in the oven door and reach the sink at the same time.
Repair & Advice
After I shot out my oven door, I stood with my mouth gaped open for about 15 minutes (that time is not included in the repair time listed below). Good news though, it did scare my dog away from eating the biscuits off the counter. After I looked up the model and serial number of my oven, I found this economically priced part and got it ordered. It came fast, about 3 days. I was surprised it wasn’t broken on arrival because the box looked like the football from the last field goal that UGA kicked in the game against Alabama. Then it sat in my living room for about a week, just staring at me, reminding me of the fact that I’m no longer allowed to touch the guns in the house. So finally, this Sunday after a few glasses of wine, I decided to tackle this project. First I opened the oven door, removed the 2 screws holding the handle on, removed the handle and upper frame mount and took them both over to the sink to rinse them off. VERY important… bring the parts back to the oven with you unless you are Stretch Armstrong. I then cut about 6 pieces of gorilla tape (30lb rating) and put them around the frame, with about a 6” gap from the top. I then gently slid the glass into the frame and pressed down for approximately 60 seconds on each piece. This was the tricky part because there is nothing attaching the door frame to the door which means it wants to fall forward so you may need 3 hands or you have to get creative. The top frame mount sides over the side frames and glass, then reattach the handle with the screws. Top it off with another celebratory glass of wine and marvel at your accomplishments!
