Repair & Advice
I have some crazy anxiety and when my oven started acting up I was so worried about having to buy a new one. A friend mentioned the “symptoms” to her husband and he recommended an at home fix. I found the part I needed on PartsDr and a great video on how to do the job. The video on this website was spot on. I just had three screws instead of two. Step 1, unplug range. Step 2 unscrew stovetop. Step 3, unplug the part. Step 4 pull the switch out through the front and slide in the new one. Then just reconnect the wires, replace the screws and plug the oven back in. The whole thing took less than 5 minutes.
