Problem
Gas stove re-ignition module was not sparking.
Tools
Star/torx head screwdriver and Phillips head screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
Replacement was made on a DCS gas cooktop. Removed knobs by wedging towel in behind them, wrapping, and then pulling. Removed the star head screws and then with the help of a second person had the panel held onto while making the replacement.
Unplugged internal power source and then removed the wires from the old module one at a time and added them to the new one. Put everything back together in reverse order. Whole process took about 20 minutes - the hardest part was getting the old module off and wires removed from it as it was positioned in an awkward location.
