The washing machine would just give a humming noise when started and no agitation would occur during the cycle. Having experience with this issue before, I knew it was the timer. I ordered the timer and received it the next day!! Installation is easy as there are YouTube videos available. I would say the tricky part is taking the timer control knob off as it spins. This does NOT pull off. You must secure the spinning by placing a screwdriver or similar item on the back of the timer to keep it from spinning with the knob and then the knob will unscrew from the timer for removal.
