Problem
Water level control knob plastic stem snapped off. Needed to replace press switch.
Tools
Small socket to remove screws allowing access to pressure switch located on top of washer.
Repair & Advice
Removed 5 screws to remove top section of washer. Removed other knobs on washer, some pull off but the timer knob actually unscrews. Determined further disassembly was not necessary because pressure switch simply had to be rotated clockwise views from back to remove it from panel. Disconnected electrical plug and pulled off small clear pressure hose. Reattached clear hose to new switch, reconnected electrical plug, and then inserted pressure sw into panel and rotated 1/4 turn counterclockwise until it snapped into place.
Replaced panel and the 5 screws holding it in place. Replaced all removed knobs.
Took about 1/2 hour to accomplish.
