Remove bracket Wiggle pump out of the lower unit. Put some dish soap on the two rubber o rings for new pump. Slide new pump into unit make sure alignment notch is correct. Cut off old style plug. Slide shrink wrap tubes over blue and white wires. Strip existing wires about a half inch. Connect white and blue plug wires to units crimp connectors. Slide shrink wrap over connections and heat with hair dryer to shrink. Connect plug to new motor. Reinstall test for leaks. Note a multimeter can be used to test the old motor wiring on resistance scale. Also Can temporarily power the motor to verify if it is a bad pump. Be extremely careful when doing this the wires will be energized and not insulated. Search Internet for you tube videos on pump replacement this was a big help.

Problem
Dish washer was very loud during wash cycle.
Tools
Phillips screwdriver, channel lock pliers.
Repair & Advice
Once the dishwasher is disconnected from the electrical(breaker) and water supply, all it took was to lay the washer over on the front door. Remove the bracket holding the pump and with a slight twist remove the pump. The replacement kit came with everything needed for changing out the pump(it would be nice if it also included a small pack of silicone lube). Install the O rings, apply a fine coat of grease(dish soap worked) and insert the new pump back in place. The kit even comes with an adapter, in case you need to replace the power plug. Reconnect water supply and electrical. Washer works like new!
