Problem
Had a tear in the bottom of boot that caused leaking from door
Tools
Needle nose pliers screwdriver and speciality clamps that came with new boot
Repair & Advice
You tube had some good videos on how to replace. I suggest waiting on the new boot to arrive before removing old boot due to the difficulty of putting the rest spring on without the clamps that come with the new boot. Not hard but can be frustrating getting spring back on. Use dish soap on new boot to help get swatted in groove.

Problem
Front-loading washer bellows was moldy, smelly and disgusting when I moved in to my new home.
Tools
We had to purchase three spring clamps in order to install the new part. We also used a flat head screwdriver and dishwashing liquid.
Repair & Advice
We watched online videos before we did the installation. One of the videos showed the technician using spring clamps in order to reinstall the spring ring around the new bellows. We would say that without these tools it is impossible to reinstall the ring. We wasted time and scraped our fingers before we realized we had to go buy the clamps. They cost about $6 each. This job takes patience, perseverence and the right equipment, but we saved $300, eliminated nasty, smelly mold, and extended the life of the appliance. It's worth it, but I wouldn't try it without watching the videos and investing in the tools.

Problem
Bellows seal cracked and was leaking water through washer door
Tools
New bellows, dish detergent and flat head screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
Instructions came with bellows made it simple. Could have been larger print but that’s just my age. Follow instructions very easy. Little difficult getting bellows folded over rim of drum. First spring isn’t easy to install but the stops provided with bellows kit helped could have been longer to keep drum from moving away from you as you try to put the spring in the grove. Dish soap makes a huge help but don’t get to much because it makes it hard to get a grip.
