Problem
Switching over to stainless appliances.
Tools
Star screw driver.
Repair & Advice
The old dishwasher outer door panel came off easily. The only problem I had was where to reinstall the hinge protectors after they fell out when I removed the panel. Otherwise, the installation of the new panel went relatively easy.

I watched a video on YouTube. Replacement was super easy. I removed six screws and removed the front door panel. I installed the new handle and mounts on the new door cover, I refitted the new cover and handle and re-installed the six screws. Done. The whole thing took less than ten minutes.

Repair & Advice
Mom & dad remodeled their kitchen & gave me their old dishwasher (which was an upgrade, despite the dinged up outer panel, broken handle end caps, cracked control panel fascia, & folded door seals). I swapped out the outer door panel & handle and it looks brand new now. Make sure you don't put too much pressure on the replacement panel or you risk creasing it. I was surprised to see that a magnet stuck to my new stainless panel though. It's the outer door panel so it's not like it needs to be food grade 316SS. If you have a powerful magnet (like the one we use for cabinet child door locks) make sure to keep it away otherwise it could fly out of your hand at a high rate of speed and potentially ding your new panel (ask me how I know...)
