Problem
The knobs on our Bosche Stove were melted and did not work.
Tools
New knobs were put on without any need for a tool.
Repair & Advice
The knob work wonderfully. They just fit on the existing metal rod.

Problem
The OEM Bosh gas stove top knobs failed and we needed to replace them.
Tools
Small grinder and pliers.
Repair & Advice
The new knobs which were delivered timely and had an added feature to prevent their premature fracture, a metal insert that reinforced the knob plastic (great idea). Unfortunately the ID was too small and required too much force to install them on the gas valve stem. I used a Dremel grinder to slightly trim the valve stem; and a pair of pliers to slightly pinch the valve stem, after which they fit fine.
