Problem
Water not entering or not enough into dishwasher
Tools
Screwdriver, two different size open end wrenches, plumbers tape and pliers.
Repair & Advice
Part was easy to remove from dishwasher but getting the hose leading into the dishwasher was a different story, never leave enough to make easy to remove hose from part. Putting new part in was just reverse order. Recommend putting a small amount of dish washing soap on part that the hose leading into dishwasher slides onto makes it much easier to do

Problem
Dishwasher intake pump broke...(leak on floor and dishwasher would not pump in water).
Tools
Pliers, screwdrivers.
Repair & Advice
Found leak coming through floor into basement. Found spot under dishwasher, looked up model of my dishwasher and possible problems online, cleaned around door seal, and checked drain area, but finally determined it must be the intake pump. (Of course I worried I'd have to buy new dishwasher, but thought I could fix myself and save $) Thankfully, the part I ordered from Parts Dr. worked well. (I am glad I got the best part for a bit higher price as the cheaper parts available online may not have been high quality. So far, so good!) Overall time to do job was over 2-3 hours, but that includes research time and watching YouTube repair videos which were VERY helpful.
