Samsung Top Load Washer Unbalanced During Spin
Some Samsung top loading washing machine models that are experiencing a UE or DC error code or the washing machine is unbalanced during the spin cycle should upgrade the suspension damper rod assemblies to a new improved design. Each washing machine uses four suspension damper rod assemblies, one for each corner of the washer. Please use the chart below with the model number and manufacture date to determine if you need the new suspension dampers.
Old suspension damper assemblies are 4.93mm and the new one suspension damper assemblies are 6.50mm

The model and serial number tag is normally located on the top back console of the washer, and it will list the model number, serial number, and manufacture date. The manufacture date is listed in the format of YYYY.MM (ex: 2012.06). Below is an example model and serial number tag to show where the manufacture date is located.
The serial number can also be decoded using the chart below to determine the manufacture date.

Instructions on how to replace Samsung Damper Rods in the video below.
Easy fix that is way cheaper than buying a new washer. Glad I stumbled across this post!
How many did you replace? 1 or 4?
I did 4 but the problem is still happening.
Same did all 4 rods and then MEMS sensor. Same DC error, even with empty load.
I replaced four with no improvement. I removed the agitator and found that the large left hand threaded nut that secures the drum to the splined shaft was cracked and loose. Once I replaced that the problem was solved.
I am fascinated by your post.. I had 4 rods replaced under warranty and less than 60 days later the drum is off center and moving too freely. Tech says drum needs replaced but I was suspicious since he did not get “into” the machine.
Can you please confirm the model of your machine and further describe the nut you replaced.
Thanks
How did you get the agitator out? Mine seems to be seized.

Drum shakes very hard when spinning. Do i need new suspension support rods? How many, how much, and how soon can i get these?
I have a Samsung washer model wa16j6710lwcx6 SN oag65bag00102p. The drum shaking quits the cycle so I need to know if these or any other rods are compatible with my washer
I’m assuming here. The problem COULD BE that the weak Springs on the Suspension Dampers and the Drum not be able to spin up to speed quickly because of the depletion of the lubricant on the Spindle (shaft) and/or the weakening of the power to the Motor.
model wa400pjhdwr/aa. machine gets to 9 minutes and jumps back to 17 minutes over and over and over. what is the problem?
Ditto. I have same issue. Tried drilling the extra holes to release water from upper ring of tub and got water out of it and thought that would fix. Kept doing the DC problem. Washington DC doesn’t work either but another topic for another day. I replaced the rods with new ones. Same BS DC codes. My wife wants to take it to the dump. I’ll never buy another Samsung product.
Washer goes all over the place!!! Need help wa476dshasu/a1
My washer continually pops up ur or ub! No matter what size load! My husband is disabled and i have lots of laundry on a daily basis. This is very frustrating!!! It takes forever to get a load done! I have to keep working with it to get it done! If i had known that this was such a problem, i never would have purchased this unit! Very agitated with it!
If suspension rods are faulty, It may leads to damage panel of machine. Is it true?
My Samsung Top Loader Model WA50M7450AW/A4 consistently gives an unbalance error code. When I adjust the clothes it starts the rinse cycle over and then Unbalance error. My washer is less than 4 years old. The wash cycle does not complete. I will never purchase another Samsung
