Burned out lights in vent hood (KitchenAid Range Vent Hood Model KXW2330YSS1)

Plastic knife, screwdriver (small)

Use the plastic knife to pry the light assembly out of the hood, and then the screwdriver to get the glass cover out of the assembly. No need to buy entire assembly! I use rubber gloves to replace the halogen bulbs, just because this is the advice with automobile halogen bulbs where oil from your fingers causes a hot spot on the bulb and early failure. It takes a pretty good pull to get the assemblies out of the vent hood, but after that the repair is easy. The user's manual says to call a repairman
