Door strike was broken due to husband forcing door open.

Screwdriver to remove old strike.

Very easy to install, just pop the door strike in position.

Washer lid made of glass cracked. The replacement lid part from genuine replacement parts cam with a damaged strike and they would not accept a return

L shaped plumbing tool to rotate the old strike counter clockwise

Rotate the old part out of the lid and insert the new by making sure the new part is inserted into the lid opening with slowly adn rotate

I bought this part as my door latch had broke, I was not sure if I needed it at the time so i ordered just in case. I did not need it at this time but glad the part was available and decently priced as I also purchased the door latch and it worked perfectly.
