Important Note

The manufacture has made a design change to this ice maker. When installing the new ice maker you will need to connect the wire harness from the freezer compartment to the plug on the end of the new ice maker wire harness. The extra wiring will need to be looped around the ice maker fill tube bracket and secured in place with a wire tie if necessary.

I purchased this part for my dad and watched him replace it in about 30 minutes! Within the hour, we heard ice drop into the tray. We were very pleased with the replacement part. My parents were on the verge of buying a new fridge but this simple repair saved them hundreds of dollars! My dad's only complaint was that he wished install instructions came in the box but he was able to figure it out by looking at it.
