Control Panel slowly ceased to work properly.....common for this model.

Screw Driver with torque tip

This is such a simple fix. Once the dishwasher started to malfunction, I found an article on the web that described the problem, as steam and water damage to the electronics. Sometimes the wire plug can be pulled, cleaned and it will work, which it did for me for about 4 months and then the control panel quit working again. I gave up and ordered the new part, which was immediately available and at a great price. Even though I have the stainless model, I opted for the black panel, which I think looks better than the grey one that comes with the stainless model and for about 40% less. Parts Dr is awesome! They will get my business again, as they shipped overnight and the part arrived the day before Thanksgiving. You saved my bacon and helped me be a hero to my wife!!!

Maytag dishwasher that is only two years old touchpad not working correctly we would touch the normal wash button and the quickwash would come on. Touching any other button and something else would come on.

This part was delivered quickly and it looks as described was easy to install gave us a scare at first as soon as I plugged it in and got everything back together the first time we tried it had the same problem as the old panel ?? So I unplug the dishwasher gave it a few minutes plugged it back in ever since then the new panel has worked great

Touch panel was unresponsive or erratic.
