Repair & Advice
Easy repair. Open door and turn steam vent cover counter clockwise about 1/4 turn. Remove cover. Remove outer door panel (about 10 screws). Close door. Unplug wax motor from controller. Gently remove steam vent by pushing outward on clip at top and bottom. Place new vent in position, ensuring the clips engage. Plug in connector from controller. Open door and replace steam vent cover. Reattach outer door panel.

Problem
Dishwasher vent was leaking into door.
Tools
Small screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
This vent assembly requires the door front panel and top control panel to be removed. The round vent grille on the wet side of the door needs to be rotated 60 degrees in the counter-clockwise direction as you face the grille. The electrical cable is then unplugged (be aware of the connector latch). The vent assembly is unclipped in two places inside of the door and removed. After the new assembly is clipped in place and the electrical connector installed, ensure that the new or existing grille has its gasket in place before reinstalling the grille in the new assembly.
