Repair & Advice
This was the second drain hose we had to replace - our dishwasher has two. Purchased both from Parts Dr and are happy with the products. 5-1/2 year old d/w gave a leak error code. Removed it from the cabinet and discovered a cracked drain-out hose. Replaced the hose and reinstalled it only to get the same error code. Couldn't see where it was leaking, so took it to the garage and put it up on cinder blocks. Fabricated a power cord with romex and a plug, connected water with a hose and adapter, and ran it. No leaks until the first drain after a prewash. Since it was up on blocks, we could see exactly where the problem was. Drain-in hose had a good crack in it. Lesson learned - if one drain hose is brittle and cracks, then it is a very good idea to change both, lol!

Repair & Advice
After confirming that the back check valve in the sump area was fitting properly I took a look at the drain tube between the impeller and the brake assembly and found a small rubber circle broken off in the tube that was allowing water back into the system. replaced the tube and everything seems to be back in order. Hardest part is getting to the clamps to get them off.
