Screw driver, both Phillips and flat head.
Repair & Advice
Washer would give 3E error saying to check drive motor but not always. Sometimes it would finish the whole cycle, no problem. After some research I found the primary circuit board to be the culprit. Fortunately, I got it right and since replaced, no issues from the washer (about 2 weeks).

3E Error Code. Washer would not spin and stopped numerous times during cycle.

Phillips Screwdriver, Small Slotted Screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
I initially tried replacing the hall effect sensor on the motor but this did not solve the problem. I then replaced the main control board. Washer works great now. Main control board is easy to change using a #2 Phillips Screwdriver. it was also helpful to have a small Slotted Screwdriver to assist with gently removing some of the wiring connectors on the main board and to pry open the plastic covers around the board. Use a towel to cover the top of the washer to prevent scratches when laying the control panel on the lid.
