Problem
Igniter was weak---I thought both where weak but the broiler had a plugged orifice I opened with a pin from the sewing room.
Tools
Screw driver and needle--also used a 5/16 wrench to take orifice out.
Repair & Advice
Careful with the igniter because they are brittle as glass and will break if dropped.

Problem
Kitchenaid had a bad oven ignitor
Tools
Screwdriver, multi-meter, needless pliers
Repair & Advice
I'm a diy'er, I got my information from youtube, if you're familiar with electricity and the safety aspects, you can trouble shoot every component on your appliances by first unplugging the power cord, then with a multi -meter do a continuity checks and pin point the faulty part.

Problem
We had an issue with the oven not going over 400 F on the regular bake function. We had to use the convection cycle instead for anything over 400. Then after a brief period of not using the oven, the igniter didn't want to glow bright enough to light the gas.
Tools
#2 Phillip’s bit, impact on low torque setting, needle nose pliers, headlamp, patients.
Repair & Advice
If you have an issue with the oven not working on regular bake/broil cycle over a certain temp threshold, it could be the igniter. Just changing the one part fixed our issue. We also made sure the cover for the bottom portion inside the oven is in place too. Make sure to reconnect the 2 wire leads with the correct terminals. Tape and marking them helps and saves time.
