Loud noise while dryer running. Took dryer apart and rotated drum and could see the idler wheel was wobbling and being pulled down then snapping back up due to the spring. Bearing was enlarged upon inspection.

Phillips screwdriver, putty knife, 5/16” socket, small screwdriver.

Remove lint trap. This will expose two screws, remove the two Phillips screws. Use putty knife on top front edges to press on spring clips to pop top free and open up. Disconnected wire from front of dryer located at the top and front once opened. Will need a very small screwdriver to release plug. Remove 5/16” screws from edge on front assembly. Lift door slightly while pulling up and out. You can locate idler pulley at the bottom right next to floor. Hold wheel up against spring and take belt off pulley noting how belt was on pulley before hand. Helps to make a little drawing prior to removal. Unbolt idler bracket remove and replace. Repeat steps in reverse. Takes a bit longer the first time you do it. Gets faster the more you open it up. I took apart first to diagnose, put it back together to use dryer, took back apart to repair then put back together.
