Problem
Dryer made loud squealing noises. Determined either belt was slipping or roller stuck. Decided to order both. Parts Dr. had most competitive pricing and parts arrived promptly.
Tools
Phillips screwdriver, society wrench and socket, flat-blade chisel to open top, channel lock plyers.
Repair & Advice
Replaced belt and rollers and decided you do this part since I was in there. Watch an instructional video. Search your model number. Sears had best short, concise videos. Clean inside since you are in there.

Problem
Dryer drum belt broke and pulley wheel melted
Tools
Screwdriver, Putty knife
Repair & Advice
The dryer drum belt broke due to bed sheet getting closed in the door while it was running. That caused the belt to overheat and melt the wheel on the pulley idler. The pulley idler was the easiest part I ever replaced.
