Problem
Burning smell from unit. Fan motor not running.
Tools
Screwdriver, wire stripper, wire crimper
Repair & Advice
Found a push-on terminal connector on the fan wiring connection to board burned up due to poor contact with the terminal on the circuit board. Heating, caused by resistance at terminal, damaged the original circuit board causing it to burn up causing the bad smell. Replaced circuit board and bad terminal. Most difficult part was getting the control panel wiring disconnected and routing the new control panel wiring in the unit.
