Damaged felt seals and glides.

I watched a youtube video and the repair was pretty simple. A wood chisel worked much better than a putty knife to remove the old felt adhesive. The base of the ball plate is pretty thick for sheet metal screws. I broke the tips off of two phillips screwdrivers installing the three screws. This kit is a lot cheaper than just buying the individual parts and includes additional parts that may as well be installed while the dryer is apart.

Dryer tumbler became noisy and quit turning.

Square drive screwdriver, pliers, scraper, air sander, shop vacuum.

This is a perfect kit to prolong the life of your dryer. Give yourself some room to work. The instructions are spot on. I found having the dryer on it's back made tumbler removal easier. (use the old screws from the rear ball bracket to run in the new one to cut threads first) There will be less chance of burring the new screws on final assembly. Be generous with supplied lubrication on the ball socket. All the parts were an exact fit.
