Problem
Washer would let water to continue a light flow instead of shutting it down completely. If the water wasn't stopped at the water faucet valve the laundry would have to be run through spin cycle with the water line valve shut off causing waste of water, electric, time and attention.
Tools
Phillips screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
Easy to replace. Watched video and the part was perfect for the job.

Problem
LG washer was leaking into the basin
Tools
Screwdriver
Repair & Advice
My LG top load washer started dripping near the detergent/softener tray into the basin of the machine and progressively became worse over time. We found out it was the control valve at the top back of the unit. We ordered this part which was extremely easy to replace and now there's no more leaks. Biggest challenge was removing the top plastic cover. The clips that hold it on are pretty tight. The plastic is pretty strong, so with a little bit of force it pops right off without breaking the clips.
