Problem
Side vent kit for dryer
Tools
Hi-temp mylar duct tape, screwdriver
Repair & Advice
Dryer side vent knockout is on very secure - i had to cut the tabs with a high-speed steel cutter to prevent bending the remaining sheet metal. You might be able to use a drill or other small grinder. Reaching in the holes is tough but do-able. I put electrical tape around the perimeter of the knockouts to prevent cutting my arms. Use paper-backed aluminized mylar tape for best result. Don't forget to put final length of tape along the length of the duct assembly!

Problem
Adding side venting to an LG dryer.
Tools
Screwdriver, foil tape, hammer.
Repair & Advice
While this could be done buying parts from a big box store, having everything in a box pre-measured with nice tapered fitting is the way to go. Save a ton of time vs separate parts. Hardest part is taping the joints inside the dryer.
