Problem
The spindle connecting the oven control's mother board to the control knob on my Bosch stove broke off, requiring me to replace the mother board.
Tools
Screw drivers and a putty knife
Repair & Advice
This is a slip-in stove, with the controls on the front of the unit. Removing the screws from the bottom of the control panel was only the first step, as it turns out there are other screws on brackets extending back along the sides of the stove, making it necessary to slide the stove out of its "garage" several inches. With the additional (4) screws removed, as well as the burner control knobs, it was pretty easy to unstick the control panel all around with the putty knife and remove it. That done, removing and replacing the mother board was pretty much straight forward, as was refastening the control panel and moving the stove back into place.

Phillips and hex screw drivers required
Repair & Advice
It took time to figure out how to gain access to the mother board. I had to pull range out to remove the control panel and access the mother board.
